Celebration of Youth Concert

David Short a music teacher at St. Richard Gwyn High School in Barry organised a wonderful concert with Young People from all the Vale of Glamorgan's Secondary Schools.  The students came from 4 schools in Barry, Cowbridge, Llantwit Major and 2 schools in Penarth.

The talent shown by all who took part was outstanding, from the various singers, instrumentalists and choir.

Salem would like to thank David for organising the event, all the Music Department Staff at each of the schools, the accompanists and especially the students who were all sharing their talents with a very appreciative audience.

Over £400 was raised towards the Salem Restoration and Renovation Fund.
